SHARE IT SUNDAY BLOG HOP

Today I am excited to participate in my first Blog Hop ever! I hope you will hop along with me for Share it Sunday sponsored by Crafty Collaborations!

The card I am sharing today is made with the Adorable Owls Stamp set and the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP).

These little owls are so cute!  Ms. Owl is flying over a beautiful wreath which was fussy cut from the Dainty Flowers DSP.  She is colored with Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut.  Her little hairbow was made by stamping the bow tie from a different Owl and coloring it with Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends. There are many colors in the DSP that I could have chosen for her bow, but Ms. Owl insisted that she is royalty -- so she wanted a "purple" hairbow.

Ms. Owl's wreath was fussy cut from the Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP).  If you love flowers, you will love this paper collection.  And even better, you can get it for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration!  The front of the card base is the reverse side of this same DSP.  I love the watercolor look of this design, and it makes a pretty backdrop for the wreath and Ms. Owl.

To complete the card front I added a small bow from Fresh Freesia Ribbon, a Fresh Freesia Opal round on Ms Owl's hairbow, and a couple of additional Opal Rounds on the card front.  Can you find the one hidden on a flower?

The sentiment is also from the Adorable Owls Stamp Set.

In keeping with my mantra of "No Naked Insides", I decorated the inside of my card by adding a strip of the same "watercolor" Designer Series Paper.  It is a quick & simple way to add a little pizzaz to the inside of a card.

Behind the inside of the card, you can see a little peek of the envelope.  I used the same watercolor design paper from Dainty Flowers DSP to decorate the flap.

I hope you will hop on over to the next participant of the Blog Hop.  Enjoy your Sunday!
