SUNSET SAIL SPANNER FUN FOLD

On Monday we were guided by the light from the lighthouse.  Today we are venturing out for a Sunset Sail.

I'm showcasing the beautiful Sunset Coast Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Sailboat for today's card.

This card is a Spanner Fun Fold Card.

I used a window sheet for the spanner so more of this gorgeous DSP could shine—it was just too pretty to cover up!

The sentiment was fussy cut to keep it as small as possible, and the starfish and shell look like they are floating on the water.

If you are not familiar with a Spanner Fun Fold Card watch my "How-To" video see how easy it is.

When you lift the outer legs and the spanner, you see the full center section of the card without the sentiment and the shells.

Lift the center flap and you will see the message layer.  When stamping or writing a message, you may want to keep it behind the center flap, but it isn't necessary as when the spanner is close the full message layer is hidden,

To keep everything cohesive, I used a leftover piece of the 6" × 6" DSP from the card front to decorate the message layer.
