ZIGZAGING THROUGH A VELVET MEADOW

I'm calling this week "DSP WEEK".  If you have been a paper crafter for any length of time, you probably have an overabundance of Designer Series Paper (DSP) like I do.  

It's hard to resist isn't it?  So, this week I thought I share a couple of ideas on how to use up some of those smaller strips of scraps that seem so difficult to throw away.

This card uses the beautiful Velvet Meadow DSP, and the card design is called "Zigzag Strips".  Isn't it an interesting design?  I didn't come up with it.  I learned it from Heidi Collins another Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

The "Thank You" die cuts were made with the Words & Wishes Dies.  I think this may be the first card I have ever made that has absolutely zero stamping involved.

I picked up the Berry Burst color from the Velvet Meadow DSP for the die cut greeting.  Add an adhesive sheet to the back of the cardstock before die cutting and it makes for quick and easy assembly to the Basic White "bubble" backgrounds.

A few more Velvet Meadow DSP strips were used to create a zigzag along the bottom of the card inside.  This really nicely coordinates the inside of the card to the card front.
