Thank you visiting my blog and taking time to read a little about me.
I’ve been a Stampin’ UP! demonstrator since 2007 and I look
forward to getting to know you and hearing your comments and suggestions.
I am a Mechanical Engineer by education and trade and have
worked in Automotive Product Development for many years. So, as is typical of engineers, I can get a
little perfectionistic in making sure everything is aligned and nice and
straight. Stamping is an outlet that has
taught me to “loosen up” a bit.
I was first introduced to stamping when my Bichon, Baxter,
passed away. I wanted to make a memory
scrapbook and didn’t have a clue where to start. I was introduced to a Stampin’ UP!
demonstrator that invited me to her Stamp Camp.
When I asked what stamp camp was and she told me they make cards, I
thought she was crazy. “Who wants to
make cards,” I thought. That’s what
Hallmark is for! But I went because she
assured me the techniques for cardmaking, and scrapbooking were similar. I have been hooked ever since.
I love learning new techniques and helping others to experiment
and try new things, too. But, as many
demonstrators would probably agree, my very favorite thing about stamping has
been all the wonderful people I have met and the friends that I’ve made.
I live in Commerce Township, Michigan and enjoy the life of
Lake Living—calm and peaceful with a boatload of fun tossed in!
I love the way you write your blogs. They are enjoyable to read. Thank you for sharing your Christmas Robin. Robbie is a cute fella.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! My writing skills are a work in process. As an engineer, writing is not always one of our strengths!
DeleteI loved the mint chocychip. Cone for my daughter in law who has a birthday the end of the month!
