STARRING WHIMSY & WONDER

It's hump day and often it is that time in the week when we need a bit of a pick-me-up!  I have a bright and cheery card for you today starring the Whimsy & Wonder Designer series paper.

Stampin' Up! out did themselves with this beautiful Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series.  Today's colors are Polished Pink and Mint Macaron -- and they just make me smile.   It's the pick-me-up I needed on hump day, so I'm hoping they make you smile, too.

The designer paper at the top of the card glows with all kinds of iridescent highlights on the ribbons on each package and the Wonderful Snowflake tucked under the sentiment adds even more iridescent shimmer & shine.  How can your heart not be light when you see this?

The layout today is a very traditional layout -- two different pretty designer papers at the top and bottom with a Polished Pink ribbon and bow tied where they join.  

Layers of Mint Macaron and Polished Pink accent the sentiment.  All layers were created with dies from the Seasonal Labels Dies.  If you don't yet own these dies, you definetly should check them out on the Product List below.  The shape of each die is similar, but the sizes are graduated so they create beautiful layers quickly and easily!

On the inside of the card, I added a strip of the Mint Macaron designer series paper from Whimsy & Wonder and then added a Polished Pink mat behind the basic white sentiment layer.  It's simple, but just enough to let your recipient know that you did not forget to the the inside of their card pretty, too.
