HEARTS ALL A GLITTER

It's time for me to start making my Valentine's Day Cards so this week I am featuring the Sweet Conversations Suite.  This suite includes several of my favorite products from the Spring Mini Catalog.  I love the Gingham Embossing Folder and the Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, which are also part of this suite, but the Sweet Talk Designer Paper has truly won my heart!

I love that this paper is so colorful and uses several "non-traditional" Valentine colors.  Today's Gorgeous Grape card shows off a couple of the different designs.

The hearts that are spilling out of the cute little envelop also add lots of glitter and sparkle.  The purple and green hearts were die cut from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper and the third was die cut from some Blushing Bride Glitter Paper that I found in my stash.  The new Pink Glitter Paper in the Spring Mini would have been a great choice -- but since I haven't purchased it -- yet -- I searched my stash.

Yes, I wish I owned EVERYTHING in the catalogs, and Glimmer Paper always appears on my wish list because I like all things that "glitter".  But probably like you, I also need to pace myself!

The cute little envelop is made with a die from the Sweet Hearts Dies which are part of the Sweet Conversations Bundle.  While the stamp set is adorable, the dies may actually be my favorite part of the bundle.  Yes, there are plenty of hearts in the die set, but there are also several other fun dies.  Check them out in the Product List below.

If you've been following me at all, you know I have a go-to layout that has a diagonal focal point across the card front.  I don't remember where I saw this layout, but it caught my eye.  I guess I must like things that are on the diagonal.

It took me a bit of figuring to get the borders between the diagonals and around the card to be equal, but thankfully my love of algebra and all things math came through for me.  I know -- I'm weird as I'd bet the majority of you would say you "hate math".  But lucky you -- since I figured it out for you, you don't have to do the math!  All you need to do is download my tutorial and you will have all the cutting dimensions that will give you equal borders.

To make sure I didn't have a "naked" inside, I added a stripe of the same heart designer series paper that I used on the card front.  You can also see that the envelop flap peeking out from behind the card is decorated with the same designer paper.

When I use designer series paper on my card, covering my envelop flap with the same paper has become one of my favorite quick and simple ways to create a coordinating envelope.  I am trying to get over hoarding my Designer Series Paper and using it on the envelopes has been helping me with that goal.

Are you like me and have a long wish list for the new January - June 2022 Mini Catalog?  Have you ever thought about becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator?  If you join during Sale-a-Bration, you will be able to select two additional stamp sets.  This is in addition to the $125 worth of product you choose for only $99.  I'd love to have you join my Fairless Stampin' Flair team.  If you have questions or would like more information, please drop me an email at Fairlessflair@gmail.com.
