I used the Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper to create my layout. This beautiful paper is a Hostess Reward that can be selected with a qualifying order. As you can see there are several different Petal Pink Designs, so I decided to mix and match on today's card.
I die cut the diamond pattern and the edges of the floral pattern with the largest Deckled Rectangles Dies which are new this year in our 2022 - 2023 Annual Catalog. These dies make it look like the edges have been torn, except they do a much better job of "tearing" than I do.
The large flower from the Lovely and Lasting Stamp Set was stamped on Basic White with Pear Pizzaz ink and then die cut using a Layering Circle Die. The Petal Pink Flowers were stamped, fussy cut, and then attached with dimensionals to the Granny Apple Green image. I used the back of the die cut circle as a guide to trim the flowers where they extended past the edge of the circle.
The sentiment was stamped with Pear Pizzaz and the border and flourishes were stamped with Petal Pink before the image was punched with the Lasting Label Punch. Hint: When possible, always stamp first and then punch or die cut.
For a little bling, Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a small bow of Silver Cord Trim were added to complete the card front.
The inside of the card was trimmed with another strip of the Petal Pink floral pattern from Design a Daydream DSP and bordered with Petal Pink Cardstock. The inside sentiment, stamped with Pear Pizzaz, is from Charming Sentiments Stamp Set.
