GOD'S BLESSINGS DECORATE OUR HEART

It's Monday, so it is time for a new featured bundle of the week.  This week I am using the Decorated with Happiness Bundle from the current Mini Catalog.  Initially, when I saw this set, I thought, "I don't need another ornament set".  But then, as so often happens, I saw cards being made with the Pine Bough stamp and the Decorated Pine Dies, and I changed my mind.

The beautiful, sparkly background on today's card is made with the Metallic & Shimmer 6" x 6" Specialty Paper in the Fall Mini.  The collection includes 3 colors: Evening Evergreen with gold, Basic Black with silver, and Cajun Craze with Pumpkin Pie.  It adds a lot of pizzaz without any work.

I have always loved a great black and white card with a little splash of red.  Today's card is stepped up a notch with the addition of a silver foil mat around the specialty designer paper and for the tag behind my ornaments.  The tag was made with one of the dies from Designer Tags Dies.  Isn't it pretty?

My pop of red is the ornaments.  After stamping them with Real Red ink, I gave them plenty of bling with lots of Red Rhinestones.

The tag is nestled over a White Pine Bough that was created with the die from Decorated Pines Dies. Several smaller White Pine Boughs were added to cover the top of the ornaments.

A faux bow made with Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and tied with silver cord from Simply Elegant Trim finishes off the top of the ornaments.

The sentiment from Hope & Peace stamp set was stamped on Basic Black cardstock and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  It was then fussy cut and adhered with dimensionals to the card front.

To card the sparkle and shine to the inside of the card I used a silver foil scrap to create a narrow border along a strip of the Metallic & Shimmer Designer Series Paper.  The inside sentiment is also from the Hope & Peace stamp set.  This is one of my favorite new Christmas sentiment stamp sets this year.  The sentiments all represent the true blessings of Christmas!
