TRI-COLOR EMBOSSED TREE SILHOUETTE

For my final card this week with the Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set, I am using the Tree Silhouette Stamp.

I used the Multi-Color Embossing Technique to create the tree.  The three Metallic Embossing Powders that I used were, from top to bottom, Silver, Gold, and Copper

If you are not familiar with the Multi-Color Embossing Technique, you can watch the Connect to Create Video below to see just how easy it is to create a beautiful WOW CARD!

Once my tree was embossed on Basic Black cardstock, the rest was almost too easy.  I matted the tree to Silver Foil Cardstock and then wrapped it with some Metallic Mesh Ribbon and tied a bow.

Don't let this Metallic Mesh Ribbon scare you.  I know I was initially hesitant to purchase it as I thought it might be difficult to work with, but it is actually much easier than several other ribbons that "look" easy to work with.  I also love the fact that it is very "transparent", i.e. it doesn't hide whatever image is behind it.  If the bow on today's card was made with a regular woven ribbon, much of the focal point would be covered.  With this mesh ribbon it adds a lot of sparkle and shine without hiding what is behind it.  I love that!

The Charming Sentiments "Thank You" was heat embossed with silver embossing powder and die cut with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes die.  Again, I wanted to keep the sentiment small so as not to detract from the Multi-Color Embossed Tree Silhouette.  The sentiments in Charming Sentiments are perfect to meet that objective because they each have coordinating dies that are like fussy cutting the sentiment -- but without the work of fussy cutting!

Since I like Thank You cards that have plenty of room to write a message on the inside, I kept my inside decorations minimal.  I added a strip of silver foil which is matted to a Basic Black Strip.

I hope you have enjoyed the cards this week with the Amazing Silhouettes Stamp Set.  This stamp set is a little unique in that it has three large, clean, and simple images.  Although I did not use them this week, this stamp set does have coordinating dies that are available.  They are called the Amazing Thanks Dies and include four script word dies with coordinating mats for each word.  I will add them to the product list below so you can see them.

The complete Product List is shown below including the Amazing Thanks Dies which I did not use.
