MAKE MY DAY!

This week I am featuring a brand-new bundle from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog called Cheerful Daisies.  The new catalog goes live on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, so, I guess I could still call this an early sneak peek.  But no worries, Tuesday is only two days away!

Happy Sunday crafty friends!  Welcome to Fairless Stampin' Flair and the monthly SHARE IT SUNDAY Blog Hop.  This hop invites demonstrators from around the world to share a current project.  You have already "Made my Day" just by being here, but I hope you will also hop along with me and find ideas to inspire your own projects.

My card today has very little stamping on it.  I have let the Cheerful Daisies Dies and the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper from the Fresh as a Daisy Suite of products do all the work for me today.

These white daisies were made by layering 3 sets of die cuts for each flower.  The center layer actually includes all 3 daisies and the leaf in one piece and then separate die cuts are layered below and on top of that single die cut center.  I love the detail provided by the 3 layers!

After layering the die cuts all I had to stamp were the Crushed Curry Centers, die cut them and add to the flower centers.  A simple sentiment from the Cheerful Daises stamp set completed the card.

The background for the daisies is designer series paper from Fresh as a Daisy 12" x 12" DSP.  This collection has some really pretty daisy paper, but I really liked this Pretty Peacock and Old Olive color combination.  If you are wondering about the ribbon, it is from my stash.  I knew I was hanging on to this old, retired ribbon for a reason.  It combines the colors Old Olive and Pretty Peacock and works perfectly with this paper, but if you don't have it.  No worries, look through your stash and use what you have!

The inside of the card uses a little strip of the same designer series paper as used on the front which leaves plenty of room to write a nice note to someone that has Made Your Day!

Now it is time to be inspired by all the projects in the Share It Sunday Blog Hop!
