I changed up the colors a bit in order to use some of the retiring colors, straightened out the focal point and matted it, and changed up one of the flowers, but other than that, I didn't change much.
I know everyone loves to look on-line for ideas, but don't forget about the catalog. It is a wonderful source for ideas!
I love my bright and cheerful Mango Melody flowers. And if I hadn't seen the Stampin' Up! designers use a colored sentiment strip, I know I never would have thought to do that. My sentiment is Coastal Cabana, one of the colors that I'm happy is returning.
I'm also so happy that the Brushed Brass Butterflies are returning. I was really hoping they wouldn't retire. Rhinestones, Colored Gems, Pearls, and dots are all great embellishments, but I just love having these little butterflies' flit around the flowers.
On the inside I stamped the field of poppies in Sahara Sand and then added my favorite poppy of them all, the small single stem with the drooping bud. I think I am empathetic with that little flower because the flowers I try to grow always want to droop, too!
A list of the Products I used is shown below. Many of these products are retiring, so if you are interested, please don't wait to place an order. They are available through May 1 but only while supplies last.
