Fairless Stampin' Flair: IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS

It's a new week and this week I will be sharing cards made with the Courage and Faith Stamp Set. I love a good sentiment stamp set and this was one of the first that caught my eye in the current Annual Catalog,

Combine a great sentiment with some beautiful Designer Series Paper and you have a quick and simple card!

On this card you are getting a sneak peek of two of my favorite new specialty papers from the Fall Mini.

Both designs are from the All About Autumn Suite of Products (Item 162193). The design on the left is from the All About Autumn 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP) collection (Item 162178), and I think it may be one of the most beautiful DSP collections we have ever had. (I know, I say that a lot, but they just keep getting prettier and prettier each year!) On one side are beautiful autumnal scenes and designs and on the other side are foiled designs like this one.

The second DSP collection used for the center panel is called Oxidized Copper (Item 162190). I can't wait for all you DSP lovers to get your hands on these when the catalog goes live on September 6.

This simple card uses Pretty Peacock for the card base and Copper Clay for all the matting. The sentiment is heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder on Very Vanilla.

The Very Vanilla on the card from is embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing Folder to add a bit of texture.

Three copper Brushed Metallic Dots in the upper right continue on the warm coppery feeling of the card.

For the inside of the card and the envelope flap I used the same All About Autumn DSP that I used for the larger front panel. The sentiment is from a VERY OLD sentiment set that I will probably always keep. I was hoping the new Fall Mini would include a Happy Thanksgiving sentiment, but it does not, so I went to my stash of old sentiments and found this one.
