I had a lot of fun making my Christmas Card this week with the Little Monkey's Bundle. Since the monkeys are so cute and happy, I thought one of them needed to be Santa Clause. Wouldn't he make the kids laugh?
I stamped a "normal" monkey and then I stamped him again on Poppy Parade cardstock to make his Santa Suit. I just cut off the Poppy Parade head, hands and feet. I dressed up his suit with some tiny strips of Basic White cardstock and found a retired Hat to complete his outfit.
The designer series paper (DSP) that I used on my card is from the Merry Bold & Bright DSP collection. I thought this colorful paper worked well for a happy little monkey Santa Claus.
I even fussy cut a short string of the lights from the paper to decorate Santa's Branch for Christmas.
For the sentiments I did some masking. On the front of the card I used only the top line of the sentiment.
