PRETTY FLORALS FOR TEMPLATE TIME

For the last card this week I have used my Fairless Stampin' Flair Sketch #2.  This card has minimal stamping -- only the greeting.  The Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper (DSP) and Pretty Florals Dies are the stars.

The colors I chose are from the DSP -- Secret Sea, Petunia Pop and Bubble Bath.  Isn't this a pretty combination?  I wasn't so sure about the Secret Sea In-Color when it first came out.  But I have to say, "It is an awesome neutral."  It works so well with such a variety of colors.  Maybe we could give Stampin' Up! a hint that when Secret Sea "retires" from the In-Colors in 2027, they could add it to the Neutrals family as a permanent member!

Today's card uses my Fairless Stampin' Flair Sketch #2.  This is a sketch that offers lots of opportunity to move pieces around, change the orientation or even eliminate pieces or modify the sizes to better suit your image.  It's also a wonderful sketch to use with our beautiful DSP.

This sketch was used on my Template Time Learning with Friends video last week.  If you missed it, you can always watch the replay on YouTube where you will also see additional ideas for the sketch.

The two flowers on the card were made with the Pretty Florals Dies.  Since the Pretty Florals stamp set does not include greetings, I went to Beautiful Motifs stamp set for my Thank You. sentiment.

To add a little color to the inside of the card I added two strips of the same DSP as the front.  This tends to be my go-to solution to decorate the inside of the card.

I tend to have so many narrow little strips of cardstock and DSP that this is a great way to use them up!
