LOVE A GREAT FUN FOLD

Today's Endless Love card is a unique Corner Pop-Out Fun fold.

I saw this Corner Pop-Out design some time ago, but I apologize, I don't remember where I saw it.  It was new to me, so I finally decided I would give it a try.

The unique angle on the upper left hides a secret, but it also makes a great place to put some focal point elements.  I think it would look really pretty with some die cut flowers along that corner, too.

But, since I'm trying to inspire Valentine Cards with the Endless Love Bundle this week, I decided to add three hearts along the angle.  They were easy to make with the dies from the Bundle.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP), Made with Love, is from the same suite of products as the Endless Love bundle.  There are several different heart dies, but also dies for the arrow, the X's and O's and more.  To make the XOXO and small hearts I adhered a piece of Basic White cardstock to a Foam Sheet before die cutting.  That gave a nice thick dimension to these elements and really made them pop. 

The center heart die cut on the angle can also be used as a tag because there is a loop at the top of the heart. I colored some White & Silver Ribbon with my Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends for the little snippet of ribbon that I tied to the loop.

As I mentioned above, I think the real fun happens when you open the card and the corner pops out toward you!

You may think this fun fold looks a little difficult to make.  It's not, but don't take my word for it.  Watch the video and learn some easy tips and tricks to keep it simple.

Making the corner fold is actually quite easy, right?  

I know sometimes cutting cardstock at "strange" angles to decorate the card can be tricky, but I hope the couple of options I show in the video help.  Choose the method that is easiest for you!  I prefer the pencil mark method as it gives a more accurate angle for this "picky" engineer.  But if using the corner template is easier for you, it is also a great method.

Here is a close-up of the message layer on the inside of the card, but I love how the whole inside is colorful and pretty!  It's also fun how the fancy heart pops out at you!
