I found this fun Chevron card when a reel popped up on my Facebook Feed. It was a reel by another Demonstrator, Connie Stewert. She made it look simple, and I thought it was so unique that I decided to CASE it.
For my version of Connie's card I used the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP). You first saw this DSP almost 6 weeks ago when I gave several sneak peeks of the Peaceful Garden Suite that will be in the Fall Mini. If you are a demo you are now able to order the Suite or individual products from the suite. If you are a customer, you will need to wait until September to get your hands on it.
If you are interested in learning how to make this Chevron Gate Fold card, download the tutorial at this link. It gives you some diagrams and instructions to understand how to fold the pieces.
The greeting on the front of the card was made with two stamps from Paper Tags and Two coordinating dies. I call these the "dog bone" dies because the shape reminds me of little dog bone treats I used to give to Baxter.
Here's a picture of Baxter and me from MANY years ago! He's begging for his treat.
Isn't he cute? .... OK, back to the card!
