FALL FUN

This week we are going to have some cuteness overload.  My featured Bundle, Fun for Fall, not only makes great fall cards, but this little scarecrow can't help but make you smile.  His name is Charlie, and he is not scary at all!

Today's card uses several of the images from the Fun for Fall stamp set.  The great thing is that they all have coordinating dies!  Plus, there are some extra dies to make the cute little fence and the corn stalks.

Before I die cut the fence (which doesn't have a stamp) I laid the cutting side of the die on my Pecan Pie ink pad.  This added some highlights to make the details in the fence pop!

Charlie is trying really hard to keep the crows out of the corn as the pink moon rises behind him.  But this particular crow named Crowlene seems not to be scared at all.  She's too busy "crowing" at Charlie.  But at least she isn't in the corn.

I think Crowlene is half Oriol because she's got some Pumpkin Pie on her chest.  And her haystack perch doesn't look all the stable, does it?

I wanted to use "non-fall" colors for my "fall" card, so I experimented a bit.  The colors are Cloud Cover, Azure Afternoon and Petal Pink.  Charlie said he liked them because he wanted to look like a happy scarecrow, and they coordinated well with his "outfit".

A few sunflowers on the inside of the card maintain the theme from the front.
