Are you running behind in getting your Christmas Cards done? I have another simple card today that combines two of our favorite things to make the job easier -- Designers Series Paper and die cuts!
I covered the front of the Pear Pizzazz card base with another of the patterns from the Painted Christmas designer series paper collection. The Pear Pizzazz panel was quickly completed using two dies from the Ornate Layers Dies. After adhering that panel to the left side of the card front all that was needed was a sentiment and a bit of bling.
The sentiment "for unto us a child is born" is from one of my favorite Christmas sentiment sets of all time, For Unto Us. It was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and die cut with one of the labels dies in Seasonal Labels Dies. This die set has some awesome layering label dies!
I stamped a couple of leaves and berries using stamps from the Christmas Season Stamp Set and then easily die cut them with the coordinating dies from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Purchase the stamps and dies as a bundle and save 10%! Even though the bundle is called Christmas Season Bundle, both the stamps and the dies are truly usable year round.
After adding a double Real Red bow, some Wink of Stella on the berries to give them a little shimmer, and a few Basic Rhinestone Jewels, the front of the card was finished.
But we can't forget the inside can we?
Another sentiment from For Unto Us reminds us of the real reason for the season. A bit of designer paper accented with a strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock adds the bit of trim we need to complete the inside of the card.
