AFTERNOON DELIGHT

 Since we only have one week left of Sale-a-Bration, I have decided to feature some "LAST CHANCE" products this week.

Today's card uses three of the Sale-a-Bration choices: the Friendly Hello Stamp set, the Special Moments Stamp set, and the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper.   The Friendly Hello Stamp Set is actually part of a bundle that also includes the Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper and is one of the choices you have when you place a $100 order.  The Daffodil Afternoon paper collection can be selected as one of the choices when you place a $50 order.

I used one of the Basic Borders Dies to cut the floral Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper at the bottom of the card.  The Pale Papaya Dotted paper is another pattern from this collection.  

The little Bluebird is waiting on his branch of flowers to wish someone their BEST BIRTHDAY.  He was colored with Coastal Cabana and Polished Pink Stampin' Blends, and he really likes how his chest matches the center of the large white daisy in the Daffodil Afternoon Paper.  His flowers were colored with Pale Papaya to match the Dotted Paper.

You wouldn't know it by looking at the front picture of the card, but this is actually a very unique, and a little fancy, Fun Fold.  It was demonstrated by Connie Stewart at a Creativate Retreat I participated in last month.

If you open the image section on the front of the card, this is what you see next.

Here is a close-up of the back of the front flap.

The dark Evening Evergreen color makes it a little difficult to see, but this front portion of the card is only attached to the rest of the card with a 1" strip of cardstock which is then wrapped with ribbon and tied in a bow. The flowers and leaves are also from the Friendly Hello Stamp set.  The masking technique was used to make the leaves look like they are behind the flowers.

OK, let's continue our tour and open up the next Pale Papaya Dots flap.

This is technically the second inside of the card.  I decorated the bottom edge with the same paper and Basic Border Die that I used for the front.

All inside sentiments are from the Special Moments Stamp Set which is another Sale-a-Bration choice with a $100 order.  I've used this stamp set so much over the last couple of months, and I'm going to be sad to see it go away at the end of Sale-a-Bration.  It is packed with 21 different sentiments perfect for a wide variety of occasions.
