HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Today's Valentine uses the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. This paper has such a variety of pretty colors that I thought it would make a colorful rainbow. The pink background is another of the designs from Sweet Talk. Doesn't it make a pretty sky?
It also makes a pretty heart shaped "cloud" -- don't you think?
The border of white clouds on the bottom of the card was made with one of the dies from Basic Border Dies. I love these Basic Border Dies as they provide such versatility, and this particular one pairs so nicely with the Rainbow of Happiness Bundle. Another tool that also pairs beautifully with this Rainbow bundle is the Cloud Punch. It made quick work of creating another cloud to keep the heart company.
When I die cut the four different designer series paper patterns to create the rainbow for the front of the card, I saved all the extra pieces and used them to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope.
So, what do you think of my Rainbow Valentine? It was a bit of a challenge to turn rainbows into Valentines, but sometimes it is good for us to think outside of the box and try to use our supplies in a different or unexpected way.
