IT'S YOUR DAY!

My last Adorable Owls card for this week is a colorful and cheery Fun Fold card.

I decided to let the Designer Series Paper (DSP) do most of the work for me today.  This is the Design a Daydream DSP that can be selected as a Host Stampin' Rewards and you will find it in the current Annual Catalog.  Do you really need to host an event to get this paper?  No, as long as you submit a qualifying order you will receive Stampin' Rewards and this DSP can be received for free.  How much is a qualifying order you wonder?  For this paper, the order needs to be about $180 USD (before shipping and tax).  The value of this DSP is $30.  It includes 48 sheets of 12" x 12" DSP and coordinates with many Stampin' Up! Colors.

My card today is an easy Fun Fold.

The above image shows a bit better how the fun fold works.  The square focal point opens to the right and the narrower striped flap opens to the left.

I used the Party Owl again today, but this time I also gave him a tie by stamping and cutting it out from one of the other Owls.  My Happy New Year card used the owl with the tie.  

I used mainly Smokey Slate Blends to color my owl today, but to see all the colors I used, please download the FREE Tutorial.  It also includes all the cutting and scoring information along with step-by-step directions on how to make this Fun Fold Card.  Don't worry.  It's amazingly easy and a terrific way to use some of the Designer Series Paper stash that you have!

Because there is so much DSP on this card, there was no need to do anything special to decorate the inside of the card.  A simple piece of Basic White cardstock stamped with a sentiment was all that was needed.
