BLUEBERRY ARRANGEMENTS

What are your favorite colors?  Shades of red or pink?  Or shades of blues?  How about shades of green?  Or are you all about sunshine and yellows?  Is your closet dominated by one color family, or does it look like a rainbow?

My closet has a fairly broad variety of colors, but shades of blue have never been dominant, however, I am loving this returning Blueberry Bushel.  It is a rich "true" blue that is brighter than navy.

I am also loving the stamp in the Timeless Arrangements stamp set that has lots of little circles on it.  I used it to create a background for my flower box arrangement on today's card.

My color coach advised me to combine the Blueberry Bushel with Balmy Blue and Smokey Slate, so that is what I did.  Who am I to argue with the color coach.

I was looking for a subtle color variation with the stems in my flower box, but I also wanted some sparkle and shine to give the card a touch of elegance.  I reached for my Silver Foil cardstock, and before I realized that this Silver Foil was no longer in the new catalog, I had filled my flower box with sprigs from all three of the silver foil colors.

I did check the Stampin' Up! Website, and it appears as though the Silver Foil is still available, so perhaps it is now an on-line exclusive.  If you are unable to find it, I apologize, but remember you can always use any alternative products that you have to recreate these cards.  I provide these cards as inspiration but please make them your own.  This card would also be pretty with the three colors suggested by the color coach.  I also think it would be gorgeous with the brand-new Holographic Trio 12" x 12" Specialty Paper.  Mine is on its way and I'm excited to play with that new product!

To decorate the inside of the card, I again used the cute little circles stamp and added the same flower as was used on the front.  The flower on the front and here on the inside was colored with the Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Blends.
