SIMPLY MONDAY FLORA

Happy Monday!  This week I will be featuring the Two-Tone Flora Bundle.  I know it has been around for a few months, but it's brand new to me, and I've had a lot of fun playing with it for today's Simply Monday card.

If you are unfamiliar with this bundle, you may look at this card and think, "WOW, that's pretty, but it looks like a lot of work for a Simply Monday card!"

But it wasn't difficult at all!  As long as you have a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (or similar die cutting machine), it couldn't be much easier.  The die cut on the front is one large die, so all you need to do is run it through your machine with a piece of Basic White cardstock.

The background for the die cut was made by using my Blending Brushes to blend three of the new 2023 - 2025 In-Colors on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  I used Moody Mauve, Pebbled Path, and Boho Blue inks.

Since there are no sentiments in the Two-Tone Flora Stamp Set, I used a sentiment from Go-to-Greetings.  These greetings have beautiful script fonts in three different sizes.  This is the largest font.  I stamped it on a strip of Basic White cardstock with Moody Mauve ink and then just snipped a flag on one end and adhered it to the card front.  The Moody Mauve Ribbon was wrapped around the front flap of the card and tied in a bow.  Two Boho Blue In-Color dots on the sentiment completed the card.

So simple, but yet so pretty!

To decorate the inside of the card, I simply stamped one of the large flowers from the stamp set.  I used stamped-off Moody Mauve for the background and full-strength Moody Mauve for the flower details.  The sentiment, also stamped with Moody Mauve ink, is from Something Fancy stamp set.

This is a remarkably simple card and barely requires a tutorial, but if you would like the cutting dimensions and more assembly details, you can download a copy by using this link.
