APPLE HARVEST TIME

It may be a little late in the year for harvesting apples, at least here in Michigan, but I was gifted this stamp set recently so thought I would use it.

It seemed like it would work perfectly with my card sketch that I'm featuring all this week.

I just replaced the circle with the branch of fruit!  This is one of the things I love about this sketch/layout.  It's so versatile!

I used the Tartan Foil Specialty Paper which is an ONLINE EXCLUSIVE product.  The two plaids that you see are both foiled and are from the opposite side of the same sheet of paper.  The finish on this Specialty Paper is beautiful and a bit different from what we normally see with foils.  They are definitely foil but have more of a matt appearance than our normal foils.

The Moody Mauve background was embossed with a new Sneak Peak Sale-A-Bration embossing folder, Softly Sophisticated, that will be available January 4, 2024.  More to come on that as the time gets closer.,

Since the Apple Harvest Stamp Set does not have coordinating dies, I did have to fussy cut my branch of apples.  But it was fairly easy to fussy cut the outside edges of the image.  I colored the image with Stampin' Blends in Old Olive, Copper Clay and Moody Mauve.  I'm not sure what kind of apples would be Moody Mauve in color, but it's artistic expression, right?

The inside was decorated with the same Tartan Plaid Specialty Paper matted with Moody Mauve.
