GOLD & SILVER ENDURING BEAUTY

This week I will be using the Enduring Beauty Bundle.  This bundle not only includes the typical stamp set and coordinating dies, but it also includes an awesome set of five layering masks.

For this week's first card, I used mainly the stamp set along with the sentiment die from the die set.  I also have a "this" or "that" choice for you.

The "this" card above uses a Landscape Orientation layout.  The "that" card below uses a Portrait Orientation layout.

Both cards were made using the Split Negative Technique.  When using this technique you automatically end up with the ability to make two cards, so I just switched up the orientation, the card base color and the ribbon.  On the "this" card I also added a gold foil mat to step up the elegance a bit.  The "that" card uses a piece of Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper for its mat.

If you aren't familiar with the Spilt Negative Technique you can watch a reply of my Learning with Friends video to see just how easy it is.

The split negative portion of each card was made with Very Vanilla and Pretty Peacock cardstock.  The large floral Enduring Beauty image was heat embossed with silver embossing powder on the Pretty Peacock and Gold on the Very Vanilla.

Here are close-up images of both cards.

For the inside of the card, I simply added a strip of cardstock so it doesn't look forgotten.

Which card is your favorite?  I'd love it if you left me a comment to let me know if you prefer "this" or "that"?

You can download tutorials to both versions of the cards at the following links.

Below is a list of the products that were used for both cards.
