OXIDIZED DELICATE FLOREST

Today, I'm using a couple more of the interesting dies from the Delicate Forest Bundle.

Notice the little leaf stems that peek out from the top of the sentiment.  The Delicate Forest Dies include 4 leafy stem dies, but two of them are attached to a lower "border" that makes them exceptionally easy to adhere to the back of sentiments.  They are very similar to the type of dies that are in the Timeless Arrangements Dies.  Whoever at Stampin' Up! that came up with this idea for dies is genius!  It makes it so easy to layer and position them.  Check out the Product List below to better understand these dies.  My card uses the smaller of the two.

At my February Stamp Camp, I had one card that used the colors, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock and Parakeet Party.  Several of the class participants commented how much they liked that color combination.  So, since it was so popular at my in-person class, I decided that I would make another card using this color combination.

To add a bit of shimmer and shine I combined these 3 colors with the Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper.  I love this Specialty Paper, particularly this version that combines the Oxidized Copper with Pretty Peacock.  But then, I suspect everything looks a little prettier with Pretty Peacock.  Are you as happy as I am that Stampin' Up! brought this color back last spring with the color refresh?

This was a very easy card, and I love the layout.  I came across the layout on Pinterest. It took a bit of trial and error to figure out the sizes that I thought looked best, but now that I have figured that out, I think it is going to become one of my go-to layouts.

If you like the layout, use this link to download a tutorial.  It has all the dimensions so you don't have to figure out the sizes for yourself!  You're welcome!  LOL

To decorate the inside of the card, I used my go-to solution -- a decorative strip adhered to one side of the Basic White layer.  It's simple.  It's pretty, and it ties the inside to the front of the card.
