A CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE WINDOW

Happy Friday!  In keeping with my personally inflicted challenge, I still owe you a Christmas card for the week.  So here it is!

This is a Window Fun Fold card, and in keeping with the easiest way to share fun folds, there will be more pictures than chit-chat today.

This is truly a "statement" card.  It may look difficult, but it is not.

The easiest way to learn how this card was made is to watch my Learning with Friends Video.  This is not the specific  card I made during the video, but the video will show you how to make the fun fold.

This Window Fun Fold card was made with the Merriest Trees Stamp Set and Dies, and it has "windows" both on the front and back of the card.  The back window pop-up panel provides a space to sign your card.  If you like to have more space for your written message, you can always replace the back window with two Basic White Panels.  Reference the video to see a different card made with only one window.

Here are close-ups of the front and back pop-up panels.

I like cards that use a bit of a twist on traditional Christmas colors.  This card uses Lost Lagoon in place of the traditional "green", and Petunia Pop in place of the traditional "red".

What do you think?  I love the color combination, and it works very nicely with the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.
