The die that makes this circle of pine boughs is probably one of my favorite dies in the set. I decided to use the boughs to decorate my window where I hung some silver bells.
I also love the little trees. After inking the stamp with Granny Apple Green ink, I wiped off the star with a tissue and colored it with a Pool Party Stampin' Write Marker before stamping on Basic White cardstock. The coordinating die made cutting the trees quick & easy.
Merry Christmas, stamped in Real Red, adds a pop of color to the card.
A bit of Wink of Stella on the stars and a Silver Foil mat behind the sentiment adds a little more shimmer and shine. Every card, especially Christmas cards, needs a little shimmer, shine and sparkle, don't you think?
I experimented a bit with a "scrap" pine bough die cut to decorate the inside of the card.
I used the die cut as a mask and then used my Blending Brush and Pool Party ink to color the window cut-out. Once I was happy my image I stamped the sentiment with Real Red ink in my window. What do you think?
