I have another new sneak peek product to share with you today -- three actually.
Today's card uses products from a fun new Suite in the January 7 - May 5 Spring Mini catalog. The Mega Suite is called Storybook Moments. I am using the Storybook Friends Bundle, the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Storybook Moments DSP which are part of that suite.
I am a softie for plaid designer series paper, so when I saw Timeless Plaid, it went to the top of my wish list. I debated a little longer on the bundles in the Mega Suite and the other DSP called Storybook Moments, but the cuteness of the Storybook Friends stamps and the gorgeous frame dies won me over.
Since I'm still catching up from the busyness of the holidays, I took advantage of the huge selection of punch-out images included in the Storybook Moments DSP. Aren't these flowers pretty? All I had to do is punch them out. It reminded me of playing with paper dolls back when I was a kid. Does anyone remember paper dolls?
This card was so quick and easy, it is almost embarrassing. I chose the pretty Boho Blue flowers first. Then I selected which frame to put them in and used the colors in the flowers and Timeless Plaid DSP to choose the cardstock colors for my card.
I used the Cute Crochet embossing folder for the front of my card. The Pecan Pie cardstock makes it a little difficult to see the embossing. It shows best in the first picture.
For the inside of the card, I used a strip of the same Timeless Plaid DSP to add a touch of color.
This is a great card to let a friend know you are thinking of them. It has plenty of room on the inside to share a little news, but you don't need to write a long letter.
