MORE MAGIC & HOPE

The "magic" of today's card is hidden on the inside!  The card front is pretty and typical of the layouts for many cards but wait until you see the inside.

The front of the card is decorated with one of the beautiful patterns from the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Paper, but I think my favorite part of this card front is the "bow".  It's not really a bow, but just a couple strips of the Gold Open Weave Ribbon (Front the Last Chance List) tied in the middle with a 3rd strip of the same ribbon.

That "bow" sort of looks like a "fluffy mess" of gold, doesn't it?

I used the scalloped edge Paper Tags die to provide a gold border for the focal point.  There is a little gold embossed bell nestled in the "fluff" with its own red "ribbon".  Do you see it?

But here comes the fun -- the inside of the card.

This Fun Fold looks impressive, but it is so fun and easy to make.  You basically have the fun of making four tiny cards.  The two on each end lay flat to the inside of the card, but the two in the center pop out towards you when you open the card.

You can decorate each one as simply or as extravagantly as you want.  You just want to keep them relatively flat because when you close the card there are going to be lots of layers of cardstock in the sandwich.

The first panel on the left was decorated with a piece of designer series paper that was fussy cut from Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP).  On the other three panels I stamped pine boughs in Old Olive & Pool Party.

Then, I added a gold embossed bell to the 2nd panel and a gold embossed bow to the 3rd panel.  All greetings are from the Magic & Hope stamp set.
