HALLOWEEN CHARACTERS ARE WATCHING!

The card I'm sharing today has plenty of Frightfully Cute Halloween characters watching you through their peep-holes.

To make today's card I started with a Thick Basic White layer of cardstock.  I used my Blending Brushes to create the sky that has an ombré of color from Night of Navy to Gorgeous Grape to Highland Heather.  I stamped the bats with Black Memento before I made a few water spots by flicking my wet fingers at the paper.  I then cut the 3 circle peep-holes with 3 dies from the Layering Circles Dies and embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

Next, I lightly marked the circles on a piece of Basic White cardstock below the peep-holes.  A little So Saffron ink was added around each circle to give a little glow to the characters that I stamped in the circles.  The friendly little witch from Frightfully Cute Stamp Set is sailing by on her broom in the upper left circle.  The little black cat and spider from the same Frightfully cute set are keeping and eye on each other in the lower circle.  For the top right circle, I fussy cut one of the ghosts from the Cute Halloween designer series paper and tucked him in the circle so it looks like he is trying to escape.

A snippet of Pumpkin Pie ribbon tied through the "ghost's peep-hole" added the traditional pop of Halloween orange that every Halloween card needs.

Less Trickin' More Treatin' is probably my favorite sentiment from the Frightful Halloween Stamp Set.  Well it may be a toss up with "Witch Way is the Candy?" because I do like candy!  But, this particular "Less Trickin..." sentiment makes me think, "what if we all practiced the subtle message behind Less Trickin' More Treatin'?"  Wouldn't the world around us be a little brighter place?

Once the peep-hole scene and sentiment on the front of the card were finished, I layered it on Granny Apple Green and Gorgeous Grape mats and then to front of the Night of Navy card base.  A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were colored with a Highland Heather Stampin' Blend Marker and added to the card front.

On the inside of the card I mimicked the same color mats as the card front, and once again I called on the little black cat and his spider friends to decorate the inside.
