A HEART FOR THE COUNTRY

Where does your heart belong?  Are you a City Girl through and through, or does your heart belong in the Country?  Today's card belongs to the country -- the Country Floral Lane Suite that is.

It's Monday, and thus time for new featured products of the week.  This week I will be using several products from this beautiful Suite of products in the new Mini Catalog.

This Country Floral Lane Suite is so pretty.  And while it is perfect for Valentine's Day cards, it can be used year-round for a variety of cards.  The Country Gingham and Country Floral Designer Series Paper collections have such pretty colors, and the bicycle pattern that I used today for my card front is probably one of my favorites.  The bicycle baskets filled with flowers make me think of Spring.

I loved it so much that I not only covered the front of the Thick Basic White card base with it, but I also covered the flap on the envelope.

I cased this card from one of the demonstrations I saw at OnStage last November.  That was when I first saw this Country Floral Lane Suite and it immediately went to the top of my wish list.

The only stamping on this card is the sentiments.  Everything else is made with the Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The hearts and leaves on the card front are punched from one of the sheets of DSP with the coordinating Country Bouquet Punch.  The images are designed to coordinate with the Punch.  It doesn't get much easier than that!

To decorate the inside of the card I simply cut a strip with the flowers from the Bicycle DSP.  I matted the strip on Balmy Blue and then added it to the bottom of my Basic White cardstock.
