BUNNY FUN IN THE FANCY FLORA

Guess What!  Yup, it is another Easter card.  I'm making progress.  Thankfully, I don't send as many Easter Cards as Christmas Cards, or I would be in real trouble!

Today's card is a simple Fun Fold, and I let the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (DSP) do most of the work.  When I am running late and need quick cards, I always reach for my DSP.  This Fancy Flora DSP has so many pretty colors to choose from that the most difficult part of the card was choosing which design to use.

The above image shows that the card is a two flap Fun Fold.  Two flap cards add a little more interest than the standard single flap card, and they are very quick and easy.  They are also a great Fun Fold to use your Designer Paper on as you can use coordinating patterns on each flap.

I stamped my bunny on Basic White with Black Memento ink and colored him with Smokey Slate Stampin' Blends.  After I fussy cut him, I named him Smoke.  He said all that fussy cutting made him hungry, so I decided to give him a couple of carrots.

Smoke also was feeling a little lonely and wanted a friend, so I had his friend, Marigold (Mari for short), fly in to say "Hi".  That made Smoke happy.  He is trying to share his carrot with Mari, but she isn't really interested.

Smoke still wasn't satisfied with his surroundings, so insisted I add a little bling -- but he didn't want it to be too fancy.  He agreed that the greenish Brushed Metallic Dots added the finishing touch that he wanted.

Smoke was too busy munching on his carrots to help decorate the inside, so he left it to me.  I decided the fastest way was to add a strip of the same Fancy Flora designer series paper pattern on the inside that I used on the front.  It is matted to a slightly wider strip of Soft Seafoam to tie it to the color of the card base.
