I hope you have been enjoying meeting my Pals from the Jungle this week.
Today Luna the Lemur and Tilly the Toucan have invited their friend, Theo the Tiger to join them as the "Diamonds" of the Jungle. Ava the Alligator was feeling a little cranky, so she wasn't invited!
This Diamond Fun Fold provides 3 perfect perches for the three Pals to sit.
Their diamond perches are embossed with the Elegant Eucalyptus embossing folder to provide them some "jungle vegetation" help them feel at home.
This fun fold looks more difficult to make than it is. In reality, I found trying to explain how to make the mechanism much more difficult than actually making it. So, I decided to make a video to show you how to make this card.
Theo's friends, Tilly and Luna, join him on two smaller diamonds on the card front.
All the Jungle Pals were colored with Stampin' Blends. Even though I created the video to show you how to create the fun fold, there is still a written tutorial available for download. The tutorial provides all the coloring details, step by step directions and all the cutting and scoring dimensions.
The Jungle Pals Dies make quick work of cutting out the three Pals as well and their flowers and leaves. Iridescent Foiled Gems add a bit of sparkle on the center of each flower.
This fun fold stands well on its own so is fun for the recipient to display.
As you can see, however, there is no place to include your message. But wait! We can use the back of the card.
Since the Jungle Pals Stamp Set does not include sentiments, I used sentiments from the Something Fancy Stamp Set.
