This week I am sharing cards made with products from the Nature's Sweetness Suite. This Suite is a mega suite comprised of two bundles (stamp set and dies), Gold Faux Leather Trim, Cork Embellishments and the gorgeous Nature's Sweetness 12 " x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).
Because of all the home improvement projects going on I need to be very selective in my Stampin' Up! purchases for a while, so I picked and chose items carefully from this Mega Suite, but this Designer Series Specialty Paper was too pretty to pass up.
The only stamping on today's card is the sentiment on the card front which is from the Notes of Nature Bundle. I chose the Notes of Nature Bundle from the Suite because I loved the dies that came with it. Come back to see those later in the week.
But the real star-of-the-show on this card is the DSP and the fun circle layout. This layout was one of the challenges from the Creativate Retreat last weekend. Brandy Cox gave us this unique and fun challenge filled with circles.
I used DSP from Nature's Sweetness, Tartan Foil and Oxidized Copper for my variety of Deckled Circles. One of the designs on Nature's Sweetness DSP is a sheet of "cork" circles with these pretty line images laid over them. All I needed to do was fussy cut one of those images and I had my focal point. It was easy fussy cutting because I only needed to cut the portion of the leaves that protruded outside of the "cork" circle. The rest was just cutting around the circle!
Then I just popped it up on dimensionals over all my various size circles.
For the inside of the card, I simply die cut some more circles and added them to a corner of the Basic White cardstock.
