MONKEY BUSINESS

I am so excited to share this week's cards with you.  Last week I shared cards made with some of my favorite products that are on the Last Chance List.

This week I am going to again share cards made with products that are retiring at the end of April.  I'm call this week CUTENESS OVERLOAD.  I'm going to be using some of the stamp sets and bundles that make adorable cards.  I hope you will enjoy the overload of cuteness!

Today's card is made with the Little Monkey Bundle.  These little guys just make me smile.  This is also a Fun Fold card that I think is perfect for these little monkeys.

It is called a Center Pop-Out Swing Card, and it was shared by Brandy Cox at one of the Creativate Retreats.  It's taken me a while, but I finally got around to trying it.

Let me introduce you to my little monkey, Milo.  Milo loves bananas, and he loves to swing in the trees.

On the inside of the card he is holding tight to his banana and using his tail to swing in his daisy jungle.

His daisy jungle was made with the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Along with Milo, this pretty paper is also on the Last Chance List.  I have used up most of my package, but still had a full sheet of these jungle daisies. Milo said he thought it would  make a pretty jungle for him to swing through while he munched on his bananas.

He also wanted to make sure I told you he was Bananas about you so I used a Nested Essentials Die to do just that.

Isn't this a fun FUN FOLD card?  I've got Milo swinging from his tail, but you could choose all kinds of things to have swinging in your pop-out.  How about birds or butterflies, or maybe a beach ball or a basket of flowers?

If you would like to make this fun fold, you can download a tutorial at this link that gives you all the cutting and scoring dimensions and step-by-step directions.  I know it may look complicated, but I assure you, it isn't.

Admittedly, there is not really a good place to write a message on this fun fold, so I decided to add a piece of cardstock to the back of the card.  Now there is plenty of room for a personalized note.  Milo said he wanted to be on this part of the card also, so I obliged.  He is quick and easy to stamp and then color with Stampin' Blends.

For a list of products that I used on this card, please see below.
