Today's card is another fun fold called the Side-Box Fun Fold.
This Fun-Fold is unique in that when the Copper Clay Plaid panel on the left is opened, it turns into a 'box" section. The circular focal point is adhered to the edge of the box, so when the card is opened the focal point pops out.
It is also the perfect card to send to people that like to display their cards because this one stands beautifully.
If you are unfamiliar with this fun fold, here is a Learning with Friends video from a couple of weeks ago that shows how to make this card.
Don't be intimidated! It is so much easier than it looks. Here is what the card looks like when you open it and stand it out for display.
The main thing you need to pay attention to when you make this fun fold is to be sure whatever decoration you put on the "inside" of the card is covered by your front focal point when the card is closed.
I showed some simple tricks in the video to make that easy.
This little dog may be my favorite little image in this set. He's so cute, but I'm a dog lover so I may be biased. The teapot and flowers are also very pretty.
For my circular focal points I layered the Everyday Details and Deckled Circle Dies.
This pretty specialty paper is from the Tartan Foil Collection. Both sides of each sheet are foiled and so much prettier in person than I'm able to capture in the photos. The patterns that I used are Copper Clay and these two plaids are on opposite sides of the same sheet
