Fairless Stampin' Flair: PEACEFUL DOVES

This week I'm going to give you a sneak peek of a new Suite Collection that will be available in the Fall Mini Catalog.

The Suite is called Peaceful Gardens. It is not a Mega Suite, but it definitely includes a lot of awesome products. The Products included in the Suite Collection are listed at the end of the post.

For today's card I used my Fairless Stampin' Flair Sketch #8.

The choices from the Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper and the Specialty Glimmer paper that I selected probably don't show the sketch off as well as some other paper designs would, but I wanted my white doves to really pop and be the focus of the card.

So, I used the stars with a Secret Sea background and the Secret Sea Glimmer Paper -- both of which are from the Peaceful Garden Collection Suite.

The doves were die cut with Peaceful Garden Dies. The Peace on Earth Sentiment was also die cut with one of the two "label" dies included in the die set. However, rather than using the whole die, only one end of the die was used to create a "flag".

Because the "PEACE, LOVE & JOY" was too long to fit to the right of the decorative strip on the inside of the card, the masking technique was used to modify the sentiment to turn it into a two-line sentiment.
