A HEART FOR AUTUMN

This week I will be sharing cards made with the Heart Shaped Bundle which is a Sale-A-Bration (SAB) Item.  This may be my favorite SAB FREEBIE choice this year.

The timing is perfect since Valentines Day will be here before we know it.

This card layout is based on one of my favorite go-to card templates.

The above template shows the dimensions for each element of the layout, but as I discussed in last week's Learning with Friends video, don't think that you need to copy templates exactly.  Think of them as thought starters.  I particularly like this template because of its versatility.  As I showed on the video, the three main elements can be arranged in many different ways.

Rather than using a circle element, I changed it to the heart die cut from the Heart Shaped Bundle.  For the smaller rectangular element on the bottom of the card, I used a Countryside Corner Die to change the shape a bit and add some interest.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) on the vertical element is from the Splendid Autumn collection, and the Countryside Corner horizontal element was made from a new DSP collection in the January - April Spring Mini called Beautiful Bokeh.  You can also see a peak of it on the envelop flap.

The flowers and sentiment were stamped with stamps from Heart Shaped Stamp Set.  All were die cut with coordinating dies from Heart Shaped Dies.  This Sale-A-Bration bundle is one of the choices you can select with a $120 merchandise order.

To decorate the inside of the card I die cut 4 more of the floral stems from Basic White cardstock and colored them with my Stampin' Blends.  The inside sentiment, also from the Heart Shaped stamp set was die cut with the same Heart Shaped die as I used for the card front.  This one uses the full die length while the sentiment on the front was snipped short for the shorter greeting.

The only way to get the Heart Shaped Bundle is to select it as a free Sale-A-Bration item with a $120 purchase.
