PEACEFUL GARDEN SUITE-LET'S USE IT ALL!

Happy 4th of July!  

Today's card shows off a bit more of the versatility of the Peaceful Gardens Suite.  The sentiments in this suite can be used for several occasions -- not just Christmas.

For the first time this week I used the gorgeous Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder in this Suite.  It creates a perfect frame for the two layering label dies which I used in the center.

The frame was embossed using the mottled "cloud cover" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  This DSP seems to have a lot of "green" tones in it and it looks a lot more like Lost Lagoon to me.  So, I used Lost Lagoon ink and a sponge dauber to add ink to the raised surfaces of the embossed surface.  By adding the darker ink it increases the visual texture even more than embossing alone.  The front of the Lost Lagoon card base was covered with the plaid DSP design from the Peaceful Greenery DSP Collection.

I used another mottled Basic Beige DSP design for the sentiment and matted it with the "Soft Green" Glimmer Paper.  Both were die cut with dies from Peace on Earth dies.

There is ribbon included in the suite.  It is Misty Moonlight ribbon with a beautiful Silver Edge.  Since Misty Moonlight didn't really go with my "Lost Lagoon" color theme I used some Iridescent White Ribbon that I had in my stash.  The two Basic White stems were die cut with Peace on Earth Dies.  I added 3 of the Hues of Blue Flowers along the stems. 

The front and inside sentiments are from the Peace on Earth Stamp Set, so you can see that this set does have a nice variety of sentiments.  This Suite is definitely not just for Christmas.
