I'm taking a little break from Christmas Cards this week. We are going to embrace the beautiful colors of Autumn. I know that this time of the year is a favorite for many. Personally, I love the colors Fall brings but prefer the longer days of sunshine and warmer weather of summer.
So this week, I'm going to try to focus on the pretty fall colors and not the "weather".
My featured product this week is the Amber Autumn Bundle. It is part of the Autumn Toile Mega Suite from the Fall Mini Catalog.
There is a beautiful die in this bundle that was my driving force for purchasing this bundle. The die was used to make the colorful leafy background.
I used my blending brushes to color a sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock with random blotches of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Old Olive ink before die cutting it with this great die.
The frame for the leaves was made with the largest Sentimental Framing die and Mossy Meadow cardstock. It is difficult to appreciate just how awesome these dies are based on the photos, but there is detail galore on the die cut frame! So pretty!
In fact, I did a lot of coloring for this card as I used the same image on the envelope and on the inside of the card.
I think it will make a pretty Thanksgiving card for someone special, don't you?
