BEAUTIFUL GALLERY - PRETTY AS A PICTURE

Happy Monday Stamping Friends!  This week I will be saying goodby to the Beautiful Gallery Suite of Products.

It's always a little sad to see some products leave, but we need to make room for more new and exciting products that will soon arrive.

For this card I die cut a two-piece frame from one of the beautiful designs in the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper (DSP) using a Gallery Blooms die.  I layered the larger outer frame directly to the card front and then popped up the smaller inner frame with dimensionals.

The Gallery Blooms Dies includes many different small floral die cuts.  I cut several of each from Basic White Cardstock and then colored them with Stampin' Blends--no stamping, just coloring the white die cuts with Blends.

Once I had them die cut and colored I arranged them inside the frame.  The colors I used were Mossy Meadow for all the stems and greenery, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink for the flowers.  When it was complete, it reminded me of a window box filled with pretty flowers!

The background behind the "window" is another design from Beautiful Gallery DSP.

For the inside of the card I used the same two DSP designs.  The message layer was die cut with a Beautiful Motifs Die.  I love these dies.  Some do not cut out the complete image.  Rather they just cut portions of the image to create texture.  It provides a very interesting and unexpected effect.
