PRETTY POINSETTIA WITH BOTANICAL GLOW

I am finally moving from fall cards into Christmas cards this week.  I feel like I am so far behind in making Christmas Cards that I may not get them all finished in time.  So, this week I am going to feature the Pretty Poinsettia Bundle.

Today's card is a relatively quick and easy card, but the final result is very elegant.

I used the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Die to create the background.  It was made with silver foil on regular Night of Navy cardstock.  I know two-tone cardstock is recommended because it has a smoother finish, but this Hot Foil Die created a beautiful, crisp image on regular cardstock.

The four layers of the poinsettia were die cut from Basic White cardstock using dies from the bundle.  These dies are designed to work with the Impressions Plate to create beautiful textured die cuts.  It's amazing the visual difference it makes when you see them in person.

The leaves around the flower where die cut from the middle of the Silver Foil mat using the large Leaf Stem die from Pretty Poinsettia Dies.  It was then snipped apart to create individual leaves.

The sentiment from Pretty Poinsettia stamp set was die cut with the smallest Nested Essentials Die.

This Pretty Poinsettia stamp set includes beautiful sentiments with a wonderful variety of fonts.  This Christmas Joy sentiment that I used on the inside of the card may be my favorite.  The top three leaves from a silver foil die cut stem were added in the lower left corner to carry the elegance to the inside of the card.
