For our last card this week with the Encircled in Nature Bundle, I have a Fun-Fold Window Card. I used this fun-fold previously with the Dainty Delight Stamp Set, but is has been a while since then so, I decided to use it again for today's card. It is a fun fold that packs a lot of WOW, but it is so much easier than it looks.
I combined the Encircled in Nature Bundle with the beautiful Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). Now I realize it is NOT winter (thankfully), but when I was searching through my stash of DSP I thought this particular design would coordinate perfectly with the trees in the Encircled in Nature Bundle. I think it makes a great masculine Birthday Card for any time of year!
The wreath window was easy to make with the two wreath dies from Encircled in Nature Dies. First, use the larger die to cut the opening in the DSP and card front. Next, adhere Pebbled path cardstock to the back of the front flap on the main card base. Then, die cut with the smaller die to cut the Pebbled Path. Voila, you have a Pebbled Path wreath!
The larger multi-trees die is designed to coordinate perfectly with the size of the circle. They were cut from Pebbled Path cardstock and adhered to the front of the card.
On the inside of the main standard size card base there is a slightly smaller 2nd card base. This smaller card base opens in the opposite direction with its fold on the right. Once the two card bases are assembled, it's time to start decorating.
The front of the small card base is visible through the window on the front of the main card base, so, using a Blending Brush I added a very light amount of Moody Mauve ink behind the opening. I then stamped a sentiment and added the 3 tiny trees so they would just peek through the window. The larger trees are also die cuts and the birthday sentiment is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set
When the smaller inside card base is opened, this is what you see. I added another sentiment from Unbounded Love and used additional DSP to decorate the inside.
The DSP on the far left was a "leftover" from a video I had done showing different ways to use Enamel Effects. On this DSP I had painted one of the white trees with Silver Enamel Effects. It was too pretty to throw away so I used it on today's card. This is obviously totally optional for this card, but since I had it, why not use it?
