TRUSTY TOOLS GIFT CARD HOLDER

Do you have a "handyperson" in your life that loves tools, but has them all--or at least it seems to you that he/she has every tool there is?  Of maybe you have someone who just bought a first home and need everything.  This gift card holder would be the perfect gift for both!

This Gift Card holder is a sneak peek of the Trusty Tools Bundle the Trusty Toolbox Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The stamp set and dies will be available on January 4 when the Spring Mini Catalog goes LIVE.  The Trusty Tools DSP will also be available the same day as a Sale-A-Bration (SAB) item that you can choose for FREE with a $50 Merchandise order.  Item numbers will be:

  • Trusty Tools Bundle:  Item # 162723 ($54.75)
  • SAB Trusty Tool Box DSP:  Item #162978 (FREE with $50 purchase)

The tool box was made with the Trusty Tools dies and all of the tools were cut from the designer Series Paper.  Some of the tools on the DSP coordinate with the dies (hammer, wrench, tape measure & pencil), so are quick to cut out.  The others I fussy cut, but this is very easy fussy cutting.

The pegboard behind the tool box is another die from Trusty Tools which reminds me of a smaller version our Dots & Spots Die in the Annual Catalog.

This Gift Card design is very easy to make.  You could certainly make a much less detailed version of the gift card by simplifying the amount of detail on the belly band.

On December 14, 2023 I demonstrated a Christmas version of this gift card on Learning with Friends.  If you missed it you can watch the replay here and see just how easy it is.

When the belly band is removed and the card is opened, this is where you will find a place to tuck in your gift card.

The gift card slips under the flap on the left of the card. I used a 1-3/4" circle punch to make my thumb cut-out, but you could use any punch or even a die that you already have.   All the designer series paper used on this card is from the Trusty Toolbox SAB collection.
