The background of this card is made with one of the new 2022 - 2024 In-Colors, Parakeet Party. It's difficult not to smile when you look at this bright cardstock, and on today's card it shows off the texture achieved with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing folder.
The three little mushrooms were stamped with stamps from the Ringed with Nature Stamp set. The three stems are on one stamp and the three mushroom caps are on a 2nd stamp. I stamped the stems once in Crumb Cake and the caps three times - once each with Evening Evergreen, Poppy Parade and Crushed Curry. To make the colors more closely match the colors in the designer series paper, I stamped-off before stamping them on Basic White. I then fussy cut the stems and caps into three separate pieces so that I could spread them apart a little more.
The stems on the two smallest mushrooms were die cut with a die included in the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing set.
For the sentiment I used one of the medium sized tree rings that are made with the Hybrid embossing folder and dies. It was easy to stamp first and then die cut and emboss all in one simple step.

The ribbon I used is a burlap ribbon I had in my stash. I'm not even sure where I got it. I've had it forever, just waiting for the right place to use it. A rough bit of burlap seemed like a good contrast to all the bright colors on this card, so I decided to finally put it to use. Don't be afraid to use things you have.
To decorate the inside of the card I used a scrap strip of the same designer series paper used on the front. I matted it with Soft Suede and then added it to my Basic White. A double mat of Parakeet Party and Soft Suede completes the inside of the card.
