Three special friends are getting together today to celebrate their friendship. Friendship is one of the three values we cherish at Fairless Stampin' Flair. We can never have too many friends, can we?
Today's card shows 3 friends having fun together. Having Fun is our second objective at Fairless Stampin' Flair.
To make this card I started by blending Balmy Blue and Old Olive ink on the front of the Thick Basic White card base with Blending Brushes. The Old Olive "frame" was created by die cutting the center with a Stitched Rectangle Die and then embossing with the Twigs & Sprigs embossing folder.
After adhering the frame to the front of the card base with dimensionals, I got busy stamping, die cutting, and coloring the elephants and mouse with Stampin' Blends. I also die cut several pieces of "grass" from Old Olive cardstock to use along the bottom edge of the window. After adhering the three friends to the front of the card, it looked a little plain on the top, so to provide them some protection from the sun, I decided to give them a protective canopy of leaves.
A peanut, flower, and butterfly added a little extra splash of Creativity. Creativity is our 3rd value here at Fairless Stampin' Flair.
To decorate the inside of the card, I added another elephant sitting among some flowers.
